ENA Fleet Decarbonisation Guide
What we will do and why
Fleet Operators and their Trade bodies have told us that they find it hard to navigate the connections processes of different DNOs. Their needs differ depending on the size, type and maturity of the Fleet Operator. Working with the ENA, other DNOs, Operators and the transport sector, we will enable any fleet to find the right support for their organisation.
Key deliverables
- Digital tool that both informs and advises Fleet Operators on their next best step to getting connected.
Target outcomes
- Any Fleet Operator able to use the tool to support with their fleet electrification.
Measures of success
- High levels of customer satisfaction obtained during testing & through the Major Connections Customer Satisfaction Survey (MCCSS).

Online customer journey improvements
Following feedback from our customers we will be refreshing the UK Power Networks website and improving the Connections Customer Journey.

Disconnections Workshop
Customers have informed us that there is room for improvement in our disconnections process. We are keen to better understand their needs and co-design a solution with them to improve our service. We will be holding a workshop with our interested customers to understand the issue, from this we hope to devise a workplan and a set of actions to improve the process.

We are updating and improving our Building Network Operator (BNO) Guide.
