What we will do and why
Work with the ESO to develop bespoke commercial and technical solutions at GSPs constrained at Transmission to allow more customers to connect while reinforcement is taking place.
Key deliverables
- Phased plan to release capacity at applicable GSPs.
- Policy and procedure to fairly allocate revised headroom.
- Customer engagement plan to ensure relevant customers can express their interest in the released capacity.
Target outcomes
- More renewable generations projects able to connect to the EPN and SPN network without waiting for the transmission reinforcement.

- High levels of customer satisfaction.
- Volume (MW) of customers projects connected at constrained GSPs.
- Number (%) of projects achieving an earlier date.
